Sheila Cooper. Over a lifetime of painting, versatile Sheila Cooper Collins has used many mediums. Her initial training in Fine Arts at Wits University opened doors to doing archaeological drawings and recording, with Professor Raymond Dart and Prof Philip Tobias thereafter working in Iran. She is known for her handmade paper with fibre from Elephant and Rhino dung, and paintings on silk, as well as her sets of commemorative stamps for the SA Post Office. Her passion for African Fauna and flora is evident in all her work.
Recently Sheila has been focusing on large oil and acrylic paintings of fields of fynbos, wildlife and vistas of landscapes
